As a Material Handling Equipment Technologist at Amazon Stores, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities. You'll be responsible for troubleshooting and repairing material handling equipment, as well as mentoring junior technicians.
About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for maintenance and repair. You'll work closely with our Operations Maintenance team to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies for increasing efficiency and reducing downtime.
The Ideal Candidate
- Associate's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Technology
- 2 years of experience in repair and maintenance of MHE, automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment
- Knowledge of blueprint and electrical schematic reading
- Able to troubleshoot basic input and output functions of building operations
