About the Role
This position requires a highly skilled Mechatronics and Robotics Technician to join our team in Bristol, IN. As a key member of our Reliability & Maintenance Engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing material handling equipment and automated systems, ensuring smooth operations in the facility.
You will accomplish preventative maintenance routines and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues, while also mentoring junior technicians. The role emphasizes safety and continuous improvement within the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering team.
Key Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures
• Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), which includes belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more
• Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility
• Track and store department inventory
• Move up to 49lbs as well as stand and walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, with or without reasonable accommodation
