Mechatronics & Robotics Technician
We are seeking a skilled Mechatronics & Robotics Technician to join our team at Amazon Stores in Bristol, IN. As a key member of the Operations Maintenance team, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. Your expertise will involve troubleshooting electrical and mechanical issues, conducting preventative maintenance, and mentoring junior technicians. This role is crucial in ensuring the efficient operation of automated equipment vital for Amazon's logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more.
- Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility.
- Track and store department inventory.
Requirements:
- 1 years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- 2 years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- 2 years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment.
- 2 years of blueprint and electrical schematic reading knowledge.
- 2 years of experience demonstrating Safety Standards.
- 1 years of experience in troubleshooting and diagnostics of MHE systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Able to troubleshoot basic input and output function of building operations.
- Experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Willingness to learn and grow within Amazon RME.
- Experience with MHE safety standards in accordance with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and Safety standards.
