Job Title: Mechatronics & Robotics Technician
As a key member of the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering team at Amazon, you will play a vital role in supporting the maintenance and repair of material handling equipment and pneumatic systems. This position requires installing, maintaining, and repairing automated packaging and distribution equipment while mentoring junior technicians.
About the Role:
- Support the Operations Maintenance team in repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building.
- Install, maintain, and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment.
- Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.

Key Responsibilities:
- Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines with proper documentation.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to Material Handling Equipment (MHE).
- Maintain a positive working relationship across all Amazon Operations facilities.
- Track and store department inventory.
Shifts:
- Front Half Day Shift: Typically 4 days on, 3 days off, with flexible scheduling.
- Back Half Day Shift: Typically 4 days on, 3 days off, with flexible scheduling.
- Front Half Night Shift: Typically 4 days on, 3 days off, with flexible scheduling.
- Back Half Night Shift: Typically 4 days on, 3 days off, with flexible scheduling.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 1 years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
- 2 years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures.
- 2 years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Able to troubleshoot basic input and output function of building operations.
- Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- Continuous improvement mindset.
- Willingness to learn and grow within Amazon RME.
