Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Robotics and Mechatronics Professional to join our Operations Maintenance team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining material handling equipment and pneumatic systems throughout the building.
You will have the opportunity to install, maintain and repair automated packaging and distribution equipment, while mentoring junior technicians to grow in their roles. In this role, you will work closely with the Reliability & Maintenance Engineering (RME) team to ensure our customers receive the Amazon smile.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical problems related to all Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including belts, motors, photo-eyes, relays, and more
- Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Amazon Operations facility
- Track and store department inventory
Requirements:
- 2 years of experience conducting quality predictive and preventative maintenance procedures
- 2 years of experience in the repair of material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, or related mechanical/controls equipment
- 2 year of knowledge with electrical and electronic principles
