Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $125,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $207,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Serve as a finance leader within the AWS Security finance team supporting Proactive Security, including input on business strategy, team development, and management of planning processes.
- Regular weekly & monthly reporting that influences business decisions and strategy.
- Partner with and influence teams across Security to develop and maintain scalable financial models that drive planning decisions, enables controllership, and gives visibility to business drivers.
- Perform various ad hoc analyses to help leaders solve business problems and understand the financial implications.
- Be able to thrive and deliver results in an ambiguous, fast-paced, and dynamic environment.
- 12 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 7 years of finance technology, forecast & budgeting, or other finance-focused competency experience
- Experience with Tableau, Python, SQB, Quicksight, Cognos or or other BI packages
- Bachelor's Degree in finance or related study.
- MBA, or CPA
- Experience in a leadership position managing finance, accounting and operational processes
- Experience working cross-functionally with a wide breadth of stakeholders, users, engineers, and leaders to generate buy-in
- Experience with budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
