AWS Security is looking for a Principal Technical Program Manager to focus on vulnerability management improvement initiatives and help drive transformative changes on how thousands of AWS developer teams consume, build, operate and ship secure software. This role will collaborate with engineers across AWS to design, coordinate, and drive security improvements in the software lifecycle for vulnerability management.

We are actively seeking a dynamic and innovative Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) to play a key role in realizing our ambitious vision. The Principal TPM will make pivotal contributions to the overall migration strategy and technical approach. Your role will involve providing guidance to Directors and VPs leading service teams. You will identify risks/opportunities in technical strategies or in engineering organization structure(s) and develop plans to address them. You'll be responsible for devising an execution plan, coordinating its implementation across various organizations, monitoring progress, and ensuring program success. Basic Qualifications

  • 7 years of technical product or program management experience
  • 10 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
  • 5 years of software development experience
  • Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

  • 8 years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
  • Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
