We are seeking experienced Thermal/Mechanical Engineers to build the next generation of our cloud platforms. What you will do: As a member of the Hardware Engineering Mechanical/Thermal/Robotics (MTR) Engineering team you’ll be responsible for the design of our server platforms. You’ll provide leadership in the application of new cooling and mechanical technologies to large scale server deployments in a continuous effort to deliver a world-class customer experience. This is a fast-paced, challenging position, and you’ll work with thought leaders in multiple technology areas. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $213,600/year in our highest geographic market. In This Role, You Will
- Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent
- Perform mechanical and thermal design and development for complex electronic systems
- Design and validate systems and subsystems to meet program objectives
- Participate in the cross-discipline design process working with other HW and SW team members to develop optimized integrated solutions
- Conduct failure analysis and solution validation for product development and fleet systems
- Manage interaction with overseas resources
- Provide mentorship and technical reviews to a team of mechanical/thermal design engineers

- 7 years experience in server technologies such as, thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity
- Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
- Experience with the project management of technical projects
