The Global Services, Security (GSS) team, a part of Amazon Web Services, leverages the expertise and ingenuity of our builders to establish scalable security solutions for both internal and external customers that drive business outcomes. Key job responsibilities
The GSS team is seeking a passionate, customer-obsessed, results oriented Senior Product Manager - External Service to manage the strategic direction (business and technology), development, and business aspects of AWS security products. This will include roadmap planning; delivering new features, usability, and product performance; and supporting go to market strategies. This role is inherently cross-functional - you will work closely with teams across AWS Global Services, AWS service teams, legal, finance, marketing, and customers. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, strategic, and adept at managing multiple work streams at the same time in order to build repeatable and scalable processes and mechanisms. You must enjoy spending time with customers (internal and external) to understand their needs, and to define innovative solutions that meet customer’s requirements. You are able to influence technical priorities and business strategy through data-driven contributions to achieve a desired customer or business outcome. You have a passion for solving complex business challenges and thrive on constantly improving the customer experience.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $137,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $236,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - 5 years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 3 years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience delivering large-scale SaaS, PaaS or LaaS products where you are responsible for the full product lifecycle, from concept through GTM (go to market)
- Ability to influence a wide range of stakeholders to align across a singular vision to provide customers with a consistent product experience
