As a Solutions Architect, you will be a key technical leader and trusted advisor for our startup customers, helping them architect, design, and build scalable, reliable, and cost-effective solutions on the AWS platform. You'll collaborate closely with customers technical and business leadership, understanding their business goals, technical requirements, and challenges to craft optimal cloud-based solutions that drive innovation and accelerate time-to-market for their products.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. - Design and implement proof-of-concepts (POCs) and reference architectures to showcase the value of AWS services and demonstrate their potential impact on the customer's business.
- Stay up-to-date with AWS services, industry trends, and best practices, share this knowledge within the team, and drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Participate in workshops, webinars, and events to evangelize AWS solutions for startups and contribute to the growth of the AWS startup ecosystem.

- 3 years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
- 5 years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
- Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
