Amazon Web Services is looking for a Sr Business Intelligence Engineer to help build a scalable, predictive, and prescriptive business analytics platform that supports the AWS Infrastructure Supply Chain Finance (SCF) organization. You will be part of the Finance Analytics team working with Business Analysts and Data Engineers to achieve our goals.
You will have a passion to dive deep, a high level of customer focus and a track record in process improvement. This role requires an individual with excellent analytical abilities, strong knowledge of business intelligence solutions and the ability to work with Finance, quantitative and business teams. You will lead multiple automation and controllership initiatives across the Finance org. Basic Qualifications
- 5 years of SQL experience
- Experience programming to extract, transform and clean large (multi-TB) data sets
- Experience with theory and practice of design of experiments and statistical analysis of results
- Experience with AWS technologies
- Experience in scripting for automation (e.g. Python) and advanced SQL skills.
- Experience with theory and practice of information retrieval, data science, machine learning and data mining
- Knowledge of data warehousing and data modeling
- 1 Years of experiences managing environmental aspects
