As a Technical Account Manager (TAM) in our Enterprise Support team, you will be instrumental in supporting customers’ innovative spirit across diverse technologies, including Compute, Storage, Database, and more. This is not a sales role; instead, you will serve as the principal technical advisor, working with organizations ranging from startups to Fortune 500 enterprises.
As a TAM, you will provide consultative architectural and operational guidance tailored to your customer's unique applications and use-cases, helping them derive maximum value from AWS. You will lead tailored engagements, such as Strategic Business Reviews, Security Improvement Programs, and Cost Optimization workshops. Your expertise will guide customers on architecture, governance, security, and operations, ensuring their AWS environments are healthy and resilient.
Your technical acumen and customer-facing skills will enable you to effectively represent AWS within customer environments, driving discussions with senior leadership on incidents, trade-offs, support, and risk management.
The responsibilities include :
- Providing advocacy and strategic technical guidance to customers.
- Planning and building solutions using best practices.
- Developing close relationships with customers to understand their needs and challenges.
- Maintaining operational health and resilience of customers’ AWS environments.
- Traveling up to 10% as needed.
