We offer a playground of opportunities for builders to build, have fun, and make history Key job responsibilities - Deliver real world production systems at AWS scale. - Work closely with the business to understand the problem space, identify the opportunities and formulate the problems. - Use machine learning, data mining, statistical techniques, Generative AI and others to create actionable, meaningful, and scalable solutions for the business problems. - Analyze and extract relevant information from large amounts of data and derive useful insights. - Work with software engineering teams to deliver production systems with your ML models - Establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analyses, model development, model validation and model implementation About the team We are working to achieve our business goals by deriving insights from a wealth of datasets like the AWS service metrics and logs, chat and call audio logs, email transcripts, support agent and support case data, customers context and sentiment, and AWS knowledge articles, tools and workflows. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS - 4 years of building machine learning models for business application experience - PhD, or Master's degree and 6 years of applied research experience - Experience programming in Java, C , Python or related language - Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS - Experience with modeling tools such as R, scikit-learn, Spark MLLib, MxNet, Tensorflow, numpy, scipy etc. - Experience with large scale distributed systems such as Hadoop, Spark etc. Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $150,400 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $260,000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
