As a Senior Critical Infrastructure Engineer, your exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal—will position you as a leader among technical teams across multiple disciplines. Your experience in data center MEP infrastructure technologies, including HVAC and power distribution systems, will allow you to effectively generate and maintain reporting metrics and process improvements, ensuring the team's efficiency and visibility to stakeholders.
You will collaborate with various engineering teams, operations staff, and project execution teams, driving strategic decisions to align projects with AWS's rapid growth patterns. Identifying and communicating risks, issues, and resolution strategies across departments will be vital to your success in this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Manage fleet-wide MEP availability solutions, coordinating across different organizational domains.
- Understand technical and business aspects of availability solutions to align engineering and operational implementation.
- Oversee the full lifecycle from risk identification to global resolution.
- Establish standards and processes for tracking and reporting risks.
- Prepare executive narratives with recommendations regarding cost, timing, and trade-offs.
- Share and leverage best practices within Data Center Engineering.
- Become proficient in the AWS data center lifecycle globally.
