The AWS Search Marketing team is seeking a dynamic Senior Search Marketing Specialist with expertise in both paid (SEM) and organic (SEO) search strategies. This role is integral to the Search Experience (X) function, focusing on creating exceptional search experiences for our prospects and customers via prominent search engines like Google and Bing.
We are looking for a customer-obsessed professional who can blend data insights with customer anecdotes to uncover strategic opportunities that enhance the search experience for all AWS users—whether they are new to AWS or seasoned customers. You will define business opportunities and actively contribute to the overall strategy. Additionally, you will manage mechanisms and project roadmaps that aim to improve customer journeys, collaborating with stakeholders to iterate on findings.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain a customer-first perspective, interpreting search activity from the viewpoint of AWS prospects and customers.
- Identify areas for enhancement in customer experience using innovative SEO and SEM strategies and tactics.
- Leverage data and anecdotal evidence to support decision-making. Comfortably navigate data and dashboards within a self-service culture.
- Draft documents to clearly communicate opportunities to Search marketing team members and other internal stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations regarding strategy, investment allocation (such as ad spend or tool investments), and roadmap priorities.
- Manage key components of programs including optimization of paid search campaigns, bidding strategies, and page content recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members to maximize the value of SEM and SEO opportunities while improving efficiency through enhanced processes, automation, and AI applications.

Compensation for this role varies based on market location and is determined by several factors, including job-related skills and experience. Base pay ranges from $112,800 / year to $186,500 / year depending on the geographic market.
