Job Description:
You will work closely with the rest of the development team to build distributed systems for our customers. Our team, Collaborative Intelligence Technologies (CIT), is responsible for developing software and services to deliver knowledge management solutions to AWS customers and worldwide teams so that our customers can find the right information at the right time.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the full development life cycle, working within broadly defined parameters, including test plan execution and software quality needs.
- Own the delivery of an entire piece of a system or application, on small to midsize complex projects.
- Build software solutions where the problem is not well defined. Design and define the interaction between the software components and other systems where applicable.
- Be a technical leader & driver for high standards and implementing best practices.
- Build highly scalable, cloud-native applications using services like AWS API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, AWS Neptune, and Elasticsearch.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3 years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
