Senior Marketing Manager
The AWS Search Marketing team is looking for a paid (SEM) and organic (SEO) search expert to join as a Sr. Marketing Manager.
Job Summary:
This person will be customer obsessed and able to pair data and anecdotes to determine strategic opportunities to make Search a valuable experience to all customers, whether they are creating an AWS account for the first time or have been a long-time customer.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Be customer obsessed. View search engine activity through the lens of AWS prospects and customers.
- Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience through SEO and SEM strategy and tactics.
- Utilize data and anecdotes to support decisions. Be comfortable utilizing data and dashboards in a self-serve culture.
- Write documents to articulate opportunities to Search marketing team members and other internal stakeholders.
- Make recommendations on strategy, investment allocation (ie ad spend or tool investments), and roadmap prioritization.
- Ownership on components of programs such as whether paid search campaigns, bidding, or page content recommendations.
- Partner with other Search team members to drive value from SEM and SEO while doing so more efficiently through improved processes, automation and AI applications.

AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- 6 years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
- Experience developing strategies and tactical implementation in paid search (SEM).
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with Salesforce and Tableau
- Search marketing strategic application. Comfort in using data to define opportunities across SEO and SEM.
