We are looking for a strong Associate Vendor Manager (AVM) to join Amazon Fashion's exciting and fast-paced team to on-board and manage strategic corporate priority selling partners within Premium Fashion.
Amazon Fashion is building a team to support the growth of Premium Fashion in our stores. The Premium Fashion AVM will help define the shopping experience for premium customers, while working closely with premium brands to grow their selection and enhance their brand storytelling through new onsite experiences. In this role, the AVM will build strategies for sustained long term growth, aid brands in driving improved operational performance, and develop programs that scale.
A successful candidate will be motivated by an entrepreneurial, fast-paced and highly collaborative environment, have high quality standards, and be passionate about delivering best-in-class experiences for customers. They should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about a business, with the ability to build clear processes in the face of ambiguous circumstances, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus.
A keen sense of ownership, drive, and ability to think big is a must.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Building strong and sustainable relationships with key brand and internal partner team contacts
- Creating playbook processes to define, simplify, improve, and expedite Premium brand growth
- Managing brand growth on Amazon, focusing on key inputs to drive the long-term success of each business
- Conducting business reviews with senior management regarding progress and roadblocks
- Continuously seeking information to improve the customer experience and make recommendations to the business
- Influencing partner teams to enhance tools and systems based on program findings
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree
- 1 years experience in Account Management, Project/Program Management, or Buying
- 0-2 years of Buying, Consulting, Account Management, or Project/Program Management
- Strong business judgment with a track record of successful negotiations and overall relationship management
- Ability to develop ideas independently in ambiguous circumstances and thrive in a fast-paced, start-up environment
- Excellent communication skills to convey key insights from complex analysis in business terms to both internal and external partners
- Analytical problem solving abilities and ability to work with data with attention to detail
- Thrives under pressure and working to aggressive timelines
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3-5 years experience doing one of several roles: management consulting, investment banking analyst/associate
- Advanced Excel or basic SQL preferred
- Experience manipulating large bodies of data
- Experience creating structure and processes at scale
- Strong alignment to Amazon’s Leadership Principles
- Prior experience with presentation, organization, and account/vendor management is preferred.
