The AWS Data Center Operations team is responsible for maintaining the smooth operation of our data centers. As a key member of this team, you will provide expertise in designing, constructing, operating, or maintaining mission-critical facilities. Your focus will be on ensuring the high availability and reliability of our data centers.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Support data center operations by troubleshooting, resolving issues, and conducting root cause analysis.
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance data center capacity, availability, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with internal teams to promote standards that maintain consistency and reliability in services delivered.
- Provide technical advice and guidance to regional teams.
- Initiate and lead engineering audits to identify areas for improvement.
What We're Looking For
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional who can demonstrate strong engineering judgment, leadership, and communication skills. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience and 3 years of cumulative experience in industrial, municipal, or commercial engineering.
