Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Key job responsibilities
- Retrieve and analyze insurance and claim data using Excel, SQL, Access, Tableau, and other data management systems.
- Monitor existent metrics, identify and develop new metrics, and analyze them in partnership with internal teams and external vendors to identify process and system improvement opportunities.
- Design and implement both ad hoc and recurring/automatic reporting solutions to enable stakeholders and leadership to manage the business and make effective decisions.
- Support cross-functional teams on the day-to-day execution of new and existing program implementation.
- Drive small to medium operational enhancement projects.
- Research and implement cost reduction opportunities.

Basic Qualifications
- 3 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
- 5 years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- 3 years experience in data reporting and analytics for auto insurance claims
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to influence stakeholders
- Deep experience with data reporting and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, PowerBI, Quicksight)
