North America Sustainability Strategy and Execution team is looking for a Business Analyst with broad technical skills to develop data visualizations and build automation solutions that drive business decision making and process improvement. We look for candidates who are excellent communicators, self-motivated, flexible, hardworking, and who like to have fun. This role will directly be responsible for maintaining mathematic model in excel and front-end code using SQL, Python, or other similar coding languages. Proficiency in the languages is not required, but an ability to be a quick learner is required for a successfully candidate.

In this role, you will extract and manipulate data gather insights and partner with business intelligence teams. You will be responsible for recommending key metrics to measure business performance, and tracking and reporting the progress to business stakeholders. The ideal candidate will draw upon advanced analytical, problem solving skills, and passion for delivering business insights and analytics.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. - 3 years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- 3 years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experience
- 3 years of business or financial analysis experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience with Excel
- Experience with SQL
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Master's degree in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- 5 years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- 5 years of business or financial analysis experience
- Ability to multitask and prioritize critical tasks and conflicting requirements with a high attention to detail
