Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Own the design, development, and maintenance of ongoing metrics, reports, analyses, dashboards,
- Write insightful analyses of business performance, suitable for an executive audience
- Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format.
- Prepare and deliver business requirements reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3 years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- 3 years of business or financial analysis experience
- 3 years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
- Experience in Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau
- Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
- Experience with SQL
- Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
- Experience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders
- Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present findings in a clear and concise manner
- 5 years of business analyst, data analyst or similar role experience
- 5 years of Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables) experience
- 5 years of business or financial analysis experience
- Master's degree in business or analytical discipline
- Prior experience in Retail, Consumables, and/or Supply Chain Management industry
- Proficient in a programming language (e.g., Python) for automation of data extraction, processing, and computation
