You are knowledgeable about common issues in commercial transactions, and having a healthcare background is a strong plus. In guiding your clients, you are able to transform complex information into clear, actionable advice, with a solutions-oriented mindset. Last, at Amazon One Medical, we expect all team members to live our DNA, which is to be human-centered, team-based, intellectually curious, with unbounded thinking and driven to excel.Key Job Responsibilities Proactively work with the Amazon One Medical Commercial team to provide legal counsel and transaction support on a variety of strategic and commercial deals.Coordinate and consult with Legal colleagues to account for multiple legal perspectives and provide clients with broadly scoped legal advice.Draft and negotiate a variety of agreements, including enterprise sales, partnerships, and general commercial agreements, accounting for legal requirements and business objectives.Advise and educate clients on legal issues pertinent to various transactions including regulatory obligations and limitations to inform their decision making and execution.Collaborate with Legal and cross-functional colleagues to obtain stakeholder input and alignment to drive forward progress and deliver timely, clear, pragmatic and solutions-oriented advice to the business.Minimum Requirements Juris Doctor and membership in one state bar or equivalent5 years of legal experienceHealthcare regulatory experience, e.g. fraud waste and abuse laws, telehealth regulations, direct primary care, value-based care, state and federal risk-bearing organization laws, HIPAA, and ERISA issuesExperience of a mix of corporate law firm and in-house workAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $138,500 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $229,000 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
