As a self-starter, you excel in driving initiatives and thrive in a results-driven setting.Key job responsibilitiesIn this role, you'll have a diverse range of responsibilities, including : Design and Delivery : Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable tax technology solutions.Data Analysis : Conduct in-depth research and analysis of tax reporting data for specific tax jurisdictions, addressing data quality issues, and defining functional requirements for technical development.Process Improvement : Collaborate with tax teams to enhance efficiency and controller-ship in current processes, educating them on data acquisition for reporting, planning, and controller-ship.Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams, fostering relationships with the tax, business and engineering teams across Amazon.Metrics Development : Support the creation of new metrics to quantify the value of various aspects of tax data.Basic Qualifications3 years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience5 years of Excel (including VBA, pivot tables, array functions, power pivots, etc.) and data visualization tools such as Tableau experienceBachelor's degree or equivalentExperience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insightsExperience with ExcelExperience with SQLExperience making business recommendations and influencing stakeholders2 years of experience designing and building Alteryx workflows.Preferred QualificationsExperience in business or financial analysisProficiency in written communication and ability to produce high-caliber documentationAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $66,900 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $143,100 / year in our highest geographic market.
