Job Summary:
Responsible for overseeing and managing electrical-infrastructure projects to facilitate the deployment of electric vehicles. This role involves coordinating various project aspects, from end-to-end project management to focused work-stream management. The position requires effective stakeholder management, deadline adherence, progress monitoring, and reporting to senior management on project status.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Purchaser’s energy manager to determine timing and capacity needs for stations serviced by designated utilities.
- Assist EOR in initial communication with utilities regarding EV and DS load forecast.
- Aid EORs in obtaining utility requirements, confirming engagement processes, and verifying available capacity.
- Support EORs in creating drawing sets for all sites based on provided site list.
- Assist EORs in addressing utility queries on requested capacity and design drawing sets.
- Coordinate with EOR to confirm utility design plan timeline and communicate internally.
- Collaborate with EOR and AMZL design team to understand utility specifications required for metering and/or MVSG approval.
- Update PES Tracking with POR changes and project updates in coordination with the energy manager.
- Assist CBRE in updating EOR/AOR assignments and creating necessary trackers in utility engagement Smartsheets (EOR Tracker, PEST Project, etc.).
- Verify offsite utility work scope and estimated completion date, onsite equipment delivery date, and start of onsite utility construction from the utility.
- Support EOR in initiating easement description work, planning survey site visits, and providing easement packages for landlord approval.
- Facilitate internal review of easement packages and ensure timely execution back to utilities.
- Collaborate with EOR to receive, review internally, and execute utility contracts while ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders.
- Manage internal review and approval of utility contracts; address any blockers hindering contract execution.
Skills:
- Strong data management skills using tools like Excel, Smartsheet, Shield or similar software
- Project management experience overseeing multiple concurrent projects
- Knowledge of construction, electrical-infrastructure or utility field projects
- Familiarity with electrical systems terminology
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification a plus
