Job Description
As an Amazon Critical Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for providing full life-cycle support to AWS Data Centers from design inception through site improvement and maintenance. This includes:
- Troubleshooting and resolving site/equipment failures.
- Providing ad-hoc training and supporting operational issues.
- Owning the conceptual design for existing data center upgrades and design-solutions.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to promote consistency and reliability in services delivered.
- Developing innovative solutions for AWS's data centers.
In addition, you will work on concurrent projects, sometimes in multiple geographical regions, and initiate and lead engineering audits including on-site visits within Amazon's data centers. Your ultimate goal will be to ensure the smooth operation of our data centers and provide exceptional customer experience.
