AWS Fintech seeks a Financial Systems Developer with experience in the areas of requirements gathering, technical design, development, deployment, and integration to solve financial planning, performance management, and reporting challenges. Solutions must strike the right balance between precision and speed, providing ever more scalable and granular data models and reporting, without sacrificing accuracy or agility. This position requires a strong drive to understand and drive improvements in the performance of relational and multidimensional data models.

AWS Fintech needs individuals that bring a balance of Corporate Finance and technical experience to accelerate the delivery of solutions that support critical decision making.
Key job responsibilities
- Design, test and implement reliable, scalable, and efficient solutions, leveraging IBM Planning Analytics and AWS Cloud technologies
- Design, test and implement user interfaces, financial calculations, data models, and data flow
- Partner with peer Finance teams utilizing to ensure consistent and seamless design, implementation, launch, and post-launch readiness
- Document technical business requirements.
- Monitoring compliance with controls and systems, and developing new processes to support the fast-growing, global AWS business
- Leverage Generative AI development tools
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 years of relevant experience building financial systems including system configuration, model building and developing reports or dashboards
- Relevant corporate finance experience exhibiting knowledge of financial planning, budgeting and forecasting functions and related processes
- Basic knowledge and familiarity with SQL, OLAP, and data warehousing concepts - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or other technical discipline
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Direct experience using OLAP performance management (CPM) tools, preferably IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) v10x (Perspectives/Architect), or similar technology (Hyperion/Essbase, etc.)
- Familiarity with Amazon Q for Developers (or similar generative AI tools)
- Familiarity with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, Redshift, and Aurora - Experience developing scorecards and dashboards
- Experience with third-party ETL tools (IBM DataStage or Data Manager, Informatica, etc.)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $205,100/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
