Job Summary:
Join our team at Amazon's Worldwide Operations as an instructional designer to facilitate the creation of translated learning materials for a diverse audience. As an integral part of the team, you will collaborate with linguists and project managers to ensure the delivery of high-quality translated solutions across various technical formats.
Responsibilities:
- Partner with linguists and project managers to deliver translated learning solutions.
- Integrate translated content across a variety of technical formats.
- Analyze source files and source code to ensure proper translation workflow.
- Provide first-level support for technical questions about the translated solutions.
- Support testing of translated solutions for overall functionality.
- Collaborate with instructional designers and media developers on best practices to support translation workflows.
- Identify and support improvements to processes or tools where needed.
- Contribute to a positive team culture that focuses on doing great work while learning and growing.
Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in instructional design, multimedia development, or equivalent.
- Experience with e-learning authoring tools such as Storyline or Captivate.
- Experience with media applications such as Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Experience with XML and HTML.
Qualifications:
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with translation management systems.
- Experience on machine translation with post-editing (MTPE) projects.
- Experience with learning management systems.
- Experience developing solutions for bidirectional languages.
