You'll help define the next generation of cloud storage while working with a collaborative team of creative and talented engineers, product managers, designers, and solutions architects. Your work will directly impact millions of customers, including major enterprises and applications you love like Airbnb, Netflix, Snap, and more.
We are currently looking for a technical Product Manager to work backwards from customers to help define new ways to store and access data across a range of use cases, such as enterprise applications, data analytics, AI/ML, long-term digital archive, and more. You'll thrive in this role if you love technology, are able to understand complex distributed systems, work well with technical teams and customers, and have a strong sense of ownership and bias for action. Candidates must be comfortable facilitating executive-level reviews, diving deep into data, and expressing ideas through writing.
Key job responsibilities
Tackle our most ambiguous and impactful product questions, developing detailed, crisp product definition through frequent and direct contact with customers & partners
Collaborate with stakeholders across AWS to drive consensus, and to define, execute, and roll-out our roadmap
Present current solutions and the roadmap to customers, including at conferences and executive briefings, with audiences ranging from individual developers, to C-level executives
Partner with the leadership team to set the strategy for S3 and shape the future of cloud storage

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 years of working as a Technical Product Manager experience
- 7 years of technical (software development, network development, IT, other related) experience
- Experience in driving roadmap for a large portfolio of product offerings
- Extensive experience working directly with customers, preferably enterprise customers in a B2B scenario
- Experience analyzing, drawing conclusions from, and improving business metrics
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Direct experience with AI/ML technologies, or with data analytics technologies such as Apache Iceberg

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $163,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $281,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
