DESCRIPTION
The North American Customer Fulfillment (NACF) ARS Operations team is seeking a Sr. Program Manager (PM) to support a Super Regional Director manage all efforts across Safety, People, Quality, NTP, DEA and Environment. This leader will partner daily with senior leadership and external support teams to coordinate a balanced approach to resource allocation, entitlement and prioritization for the fulfillment network. The PM has four core responsibilities: 1) Support of project delivery; making sure that projects are delivered on time and achieve stated goals such as improved customer experience, higher throughput, and reduced defects; 2) Ensuring that our organizations strategic direction is reflected in projects; 3) Providing the means and tools for PMs to carry out their job; and 4) Execute daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly reviews, data driven analysis and overall creation, adherence and continuous iterations of mechanisms of the super region. You will be working in all facets of the NACF ARS Operations Leadership Team and are expected to apply your own vision, experience, and best practices to improve the project lifecycle.
Key job responsibilities
• Executes super regional mechanisms including Daily, Weekly, Monthly and Quarterly business reviews and super regional site visits and benchmarks
• Support portfolio reports to leadership, highlighting performance to metrics, including both risks and opportunities
• Support program and project managers on reporting on their programs
• Provide expert knowledge on how projects can be set-up, determining scope, create planning, etc
• Identify and manage risks during project execution
• Develop tooling and templates to support PMs
• Engage with stakeholders to remain on top of the latest developments within the organization
• Coordinate project status meetings to ensure appropriate audience, efficient use of time, and completion of action items
• Participate in efforts to promote Project Management best practices throughout the company
• Remain flexible to changing priorities and open to new ideas
• Drive effective teamwork, communication, collaboration and commitment across multiple disparate groups with competing priorities
• Be the glue that is able to understand, plan, and manage the cross-team interdependencies for complex systems
• You will need to define, prioritize and plan the resources and technical requirements needed for programs to be delivered on time
• Navigate ambiguous problems and strong bias for action are critical in this role
• Effectively integrate projects between Project Owners and Operations with the use of cross-functional teams
• This role will be 20-25% travel as needed pending priorities and business need
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of program or project management experience
- 7 years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience with tools/systems to analyze data including Excel, Access, SQL or other data management systems
