We are seeking a driven, experienced, talented and inventive individual to join the Robotics Manufacturing and Technical Operations to drive programs to revolutionize manufacturing in the organization that has delivered the largest fleet of industrial mobile robots in the world. This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact across several teams and automation solutions by driving process and program efficiencies as we bring solutions to life.
The candidate will shine in ambiguous situations and navigate between the details and big picture and excel at both written and verbal communication. The candidate will partner with the leadership team to develop operational processes, technical reviews, own the business cadence, as well as strategic documents such as 3-year plan, operational planning, and capacity planning. The right candidate will possess strong program management and process excellence background, have demonstrated experience leading large, complex initiatives involving multiple technologies, teams and cross-functional processes.
Key job responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact and strategic advisor to the Robotics Manufacturing and Technical Operations Leadership, providing high-level support, counsel, and coordination on all operational matters.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the organization's operations, processes, and key stakeholder relationships to anticipate the Leadership needs and proactively address issues.
- Manage operational priorities and workflows, ensuring efficient use of time and the timely completion of critical tasks and deliverables.
- Collaborate closely with Leadership to develop and implement effective operational strategies, policies, and procedures that drive continuous improvement and enhance departmental performance.
- Lead the operational planning(OP), strategic planning session (SPS) coordination, and execution of high-impact operational projects and initiatives, serving as a project manager and subject matter expert.
- Represent RMTO in various internal and external meetings, effectively communicating department priorities, challenges, and achievements to key stakeholders.
- Analyze operational data, identify trends and opportunities, and provide data-driven recommendations to inform decision-making and drive strategic initiatives.
- Serve as a trusted liaison between the RMTO and cross-functional leaders, fostering collaborative relationships and aligning operational priorities.
- Champion the adoption of industry best practices, innovative technologies, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance the organizations capabilities.

RMTO provides world class manufacturing production, process and production system design, advanced manufacturing and supply chain quality engineering, and test services for complex electro-mechanical systems. We are responsible for manufacturing the largest fleet of industrial mobile robots in the world and are constantly identifying opportunities to improve and deliver more for our customers.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 10 years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
- 10 years of program or project management experience
- 7 years of managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience delivering projects within scope, time, budget and quality
- Experience owning program strategy and end to end delivery
