The APS Publisher Products Engineering team is responsible for building cloud-based advertising technology services that help Web, Mobile, Streaming TV broadcasters and Audio publishers grow their business. The engineering team focuses on unlocking our ad tech on the most impactful Desktop, mobile and Connected TV devices in the home, bringing real-time capabilities to this medium for the first time.You will also drive the strategy for critical program support initiatives, ensuring stakeholders, engineering teams, and customers are building trustworthy solutions for business-critical decision-making.
In this role, you will work closely with SDEs, FEEs, Data Engineers, BI Engineers, Data/Applied Science, and partnering with cross-functional product teams to deliver high-quality, scalable data products. You will also partner with business counterparts like BDs, AMs, SAs and other roles to help drive the customer facing advertising initiatives. You will assess risks, anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, make tradeoffs, balance business needs versus technical constraints, and encourage risk-taking behavior to maximize business benefit. Successful candidates will have a technical background, be detail-driven, and possess excellent problem-solving abilities.

• Coordinate the development timelines across several large engineering organizations to deliver on strict timelines
• Work with cross functional product leaders to drive execution of an ambitious product roadmap
• Be the voice of the team across multiple layers of the organization and drive multi-year planning activities.
• Act as mentor and role model for other members of the team
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 7 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 7 years of technical product or program management experience
- 5 years of software development experience
- Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 8 years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
