As a Principal Technical Program Manager (TPM) for NASC Engineering Strategy, you will own the NASC Engineering build plan and drive strategic technical programs that shape Amazon's network architecture and connectivity strategy. You will lead cross-functional initiatives to develop and execute engineering roadmaps, working closely with senior leadership to align technology solutions with business objectives. This role requires deep technical expertise, strategic thinking, and the ability to influence and execute across organizational boundaries. You will be responsible for defining technical requirements, managing dependencies, and ensuring successful delivery of critical network infrastructure programs that support Amazon's growing global footprint.
Key job responsibilities
Collaborating with long-term planning partners to align network infrastructure strategies with projected business growth and technological advancements.
Analyzing ongoing changes in sort point configurations within Amazon's Sort Centers, understanding the dynamic nature of these operational environments.
Assessing how these configuration changes impact throughput per hour (TPH) and evaluating the resulting effects on long-term efficiency roadmaps.
Engaging With Internal Stakeholders, Including
Network Engineering teams
Operations Technology teams
Sort Center Design teams
Long-term Planning teams
Senior leadership in NASC and Operations
Coordinating cross-functional meetings to discuss technical requirements, dependencies, and potential roadblocks in implementing network infrastructure improvements.
Reviewing and updating program roadmaps to ensure alignment with evolving Sort Center needs and technological capabilities.
Developing and presenting progress reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. - 7 years of technical product or program management experience
- 10 years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5 years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 8 years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
