The Principal TPM will be responsible for the execution of critical programs of the AI Domains (AIDo) team within the broader Alexa AI org. AIDo's vision is to build world-class Al-based services to improve conversational CX across endpoints, modalities, and locales. Our industry leading solutions empower Domains and Horizontal CX
owners to rapidly scale and optimize their experiences. The systems we build deliver a rich interactive conversational and a safe customer experience. We build LLM optimization systems that help partners with rapid application development.
The Principal TPM will orchestrate across hundreds of teams within Alexa, Devices and AGI organization to define workstreams, identify dependencies and gather commitments across teams to help deliver the most critical projects for the org. This is a TPM of TPMs role, where the interaction isn't with a single technical team, instead they will deliver results across multiple L8 teams, and in partnership with several partner teams.
Key job responsibilities
Drive alignment on execution plans that span multiple internal and external teams. Prepare and present schedule, risks and roadmap status. Drive clarity on ongoing roadblocks and misalignments and collaborate with the cross functional teams on mitigations.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $159,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $275,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Define and deliver critical programs across multiple teams within AIDo, AGI, Alexa AI and other internal customer teams. Setting milestones that help achieve the program target dates.
- Standup mechanisms to track and communicate progress towards delivery dates.
- Effectively communicate with all levels of leadership, they should be able to represent complex decisions, trade-offs and solutions in various forums.
- Identify and resolve roadblocks and conflicts that originate during program execution. Partner with PMs, Science and Engineering teams to resolve issues.
- Build relationships and manage by influence in a matrix organization to solve complex AI problems with tight timelines
- Define and execute Program Management best practices across the different Alexa science and engineering teams to help raise the bar on the execution of our team.
- Manage a queue of customer facing issues and feature requests to improve the new functionalities of Alexa.

- 10 years of engineering experience
- 7 years of technical product or program management experience
- 5 years of software development experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- 8 years of hands-on work managing complex technology projects experience
