What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Manager, Merch on Demand position at Amazon?
DESCRIPTION
Merch on Demand is creating a highly scalable print on demand business for consumer products. We work with both independent content creators and global brand partners across entertainment, music, gaming and consumer products verticals. To support our growth we are looking for a talented, driven, and highly analytical Program Manager with proven experience scaling product and catalog launches. The Merch on Demand team is rapidly growing, and this is a unique opportunity to play a key role in an exciting initiative at Amazon in its early stages.
This role will work cross-functionally with internal stakeholders. You will work closely with Merch tech, data, and product management teams on upcoming catalog feature launches. You will own several launch efforts including complete end-to-end testing, implementation, and scaling efforts. You will be a scrappy self-starter who likes testing new features among the broader Amazon ecosystem, tools, and systems. You will document testing efforts, create SOPs, and scale successful results to the broader Merch catalog.
This role will have high attention to detail, a high bar for CX, and a bias for action to implement catalog enhancements. The ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task is a must. The successful candidate will be eager to learn and able to work autonomously within a fast-moving and often ambiguous environment. They will be a scrappy self-starter, and have the ability to look around corners. This position involves regular communication with senior management on status, risks and implementation strategy. Excellent listening, writing skills and ability to communicate with tech teams are essential.
Finally, you are also expected to own the deployment, measurement and optimization of these efforts, so a passion for both data and operational excellence is a must.
