Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $107,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $177,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Key job responsibilities
- Provide field support for refrigeration sites across assigned geography including support for operations, field maintenance, and food safety partners
- Manage multiple complex projects and tasks simultaneously as well as be able to influence, and develop relationships at all organization levels.
- Oversee the maintenance acceptance of part of commissioning large-scale, complex projects.
- Provide leadership and mentoring to facilities maintenance leadership and operations teams.
- Be involved in design review process across the North American market while providing guidance and professional recommendations on equipment standardization procurement to leverage scale, cost savings opportunities, and to standardize maintenance activities as we continue to expand the business.
- Travel domestically up to 50%.

- Understanding of refrigeration systems, troubleshooting, design, and repair
- Familiarity with low-GWP refrigerants, pending regulatory requirements, and design changes
- Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical audiences
- 5 years of directly managing and responsible for multiple large projects experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience and strong technical background in relevant fields of automated or non-automated material handling equipment
- Master's degree in engineering, mechanical, operations, supply chain, business administration, or equivalent STEM field
- Experience in Lean Management, Six Sigma and other operations engineer tools
