As our WFM Specialist, you'll have the opportunity to directly impact business outcomes through innovative scheduling solutions and predictive modeling.
Key job responsibilities
1. Schedule Generation and Optimization:
* Regularly generate and optimize schedules to maximize resource efficiency
* Apply advanced statistical knowledge and forecasting techniques
* Develop and implement capacity planning models
* Conduct scenario analysis for optimal resource allocation
2. Schedule Management:
* Ensure timely updates of work shifts in collaboration with Operations
* Manage time-off requests based on shrink goals
* Track and update Non-Productive Time (NPTs)
* Oversee shift swap requests and shift bid processes
3. Performance Monitoring and Analytics:
* Design and maintain real-time performance monitoring systems
* Develop and track KPI frameworks
* Create automated reporting solutions using advanced BI tools
* Conduct operational analytics for continuous improvement
4. Data Management and System Architecture:
* Design and implement ETL processes
* Maintain data integrity across WFM systems
* Develop automated workflow solutions
* Create and maintain data visualization dashboards
About the team
We are team of workforce schedulers and part of wider Workforce management (WFM) function. We support Operations team to strategically allocate people and resources, track attendance and comply with constantly changing workplace laws and regulations. Our primary objective is to understand business rhythm using historical data and trends to predict future staffing needs and then create schedules that best fit the forecasted model and automatically tracks employee time and attendance.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 1 years of program or project management experience
- Experience in a highly analytical, results-oriented environment with cross functional interactions
- Knowledge of SQL
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
- Experience in forecast modeling and ETL process design, including scenario analysis and data pipeline development
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
- Advanced statistical analysis capabilities

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
