In this role, you will lead a team of product managers responsible for building a suite of product solutions and offerings that allow Amazon and our Sellers to earn recovery from their returned and damaged products and keep products out of landfill. This role interacts with a wide audience of stakeholders and customers—ranging from wholesale liquidators and charities (and their customers) to conscientious shoppers who are looking for discounted products on used or damaged goods that help us achieve our goal of zero waste. You will work closely with tech teams, program management, UX designers, worldwide operations partners, wholesale liquidators, and charity organizations to deliver scalable solutions, which solve complex problems. You and your team will own multi-year product roadmaps focused on generating recovery and achieving zero waste.

Key job responsibilities
• Defining a product vision that will be socialized with senior leadership
• Managing a team of product managers to define, build, test, deploy, and manage new recovery channels for Amazon’s ReCommerce business
• Generating and reviewing financial analyses and pro formas for the product offerings owned by this team
• Working directly with engineering to build exceptional products
• Influencing partner teams and external vendors that may have competing priorities
• Interacting with stakeholders at multiple levels and in multiple locations, and working with business, other product teams, program management, and Operations teams to solve complex business challenges
• Anticipating bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making tradeoffs, and balancing business needs versus technical and/or operational constraints
• Collaborating with global stakeholders in other regions to champion a worldwide strategy that eliminates product waste
• Support hiring and developing a team of strong product managers that will define and execute the vision

In ReCommerce, we are responsible for the resale, refurbishment, and dispositioning of previously owned products. Our organization specializes in giving products a second life through sophisticated technology, specialized processing, refurbishment, sales strategies, and donation solutions while driving a zero-waste strategy and promoting sustainable consumption. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 12 years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- 6 years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience engaging and influencing senior executives
- MBA
- Experience with product cycles of 6 months
- Experience working cross-functionally with UX design and software development teams
- Passion for sustainability and the circular economy
- Experience launching global products and working with, and influencing, global stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $160,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $265,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
