This Senior Monetization Strategy Manager will work closely with teams across Sales, Business, and Finance to recommend pricing and incentives for new complex fulfillment products globally. You will partner with sales and business development teams to interact directly with merchants to better understand their needs, and how we can improve their customer value and experience to grow their business.

They will have a strong bias toward data driven decision making. Key job responsibilities
You will own pricing and incentives for strategic customers as well as developing new monetization practices/techniques by:
• Engaging with Customers, Sales, and Marketing to deeply understand the pricing related needs from strategic customers, while identifying and incorporating disruptive capabilities.
• Assessing business opportunities and communicating trade-offs with Sales and Finance to ensure we prioritize the most critical and impactful work.
• Managing end to end monetization process from start to finish including data gathering, price modeling, profitability analysis, and strategic positioning.
• Providing competitive and profitable pricing recommendations, and then managing the approval and implementation processes.
• Monitoring customer performance, and sharing insights and recommendations with sales and account management teams to drive continued business growth.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5 years of professional or military experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience influencing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units
- Experience in the development of business/pricing strategies
- Experience in RFPs for enterprise scale businesses
- Experience using data and metrics to drive decision making and recommendations
- Experience in the warehousing, logistics, or fulfillment industries will be highly beneficial
- Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
- MBA/Master’s/Ph.D degree
- Superior written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior management.
- Exhibits sound business judgment and a proven ability to influence others, takes ownership, possesses strong analytical skills, and delivers results.
- Demonstrated bias for action with strengths in problem solving, attention to detail, ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, and ability to multitask.
- Comfortable working in an ambiguous and rapidly changing startup environment, willingness to roll up your sleeves and pitch in wherever necessary.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
