Amazon’s Worldwide Returns & ReCommerce (WWRR) team invents bold solutions in sustainable transportation, returns and Resale experiences that create trust and value for customers, selling partners, and shippers and benefit people and the planet. We champion and lead the way to achieve Zero Defects, Zero Cost of Returns, Zero Product Waste, and Zero Carbon, at scale. We are an agile, innovative organization dedicated to “The Four Zeros”. WWRR includes the full complement of business, product, program, operational, data, and software engineering teams, who work together to identify and remove defects that cause returns, reinvent the return experience, and manage the lifecycle of returned, overstock, and damaged products, with the objective of throwing nothing away.
The role sits within the ReCommerce organization. As part of the circular economy, ReCommerce helps extend the lifecycle of products, reduce waste, and encourage reuse. The successful candidate for the Program Manager, Recommerce role is a strong general athlete with product, program or general management experience. Our environment is fast-paced, and requires someone who is flexible, detail-oriented, data-driven and analytical, and comfortable collaborating with multiple worldwide stakeholders across WW Amazon including our exec leaders. This role involves a wide range of problem-solving and will require the ability to identify opportunities independently, form strong recommendations supported by robust analysis, and build consensus and a plan of action around a common solution.

Key job responsibilities
In this role within ReCommerce, you will own the organization's mechanisms, manage our cross-organization initiatives, reporting and strategic projects across our business.
Example areas of ownership:
- OP Planning for ReCommerce organization including providing input to the VP calendar and the wider mechanisms for managing OP planning
- Ensure cross-org alignment on overall strategic goals, standards, objectives and key results, and metrics
- Drive operational optimization and efficiency- maintaining and improving all rhythm of business tools and processes.
- Portfolio owner for cross-organization initiatives requiring Recommerce involvement
- Analyze business performance, as required, including defining and tracking KPIs, issue identification and resolution in support of organizational goals

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 4 years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Bachelor's degree
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree, or MBA in supply chain, business, engineering, finance or related technical or quantitative field
- 3 years of Business strategy or Non-Tech Program Management experience

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
