AWS Utility Computing (UC) provides product innovations — from foundational services such as Amazon’s Simple Storage Service (S3) and Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), to consistently released new product innovations that continue to set AWS’s services and features apart in the industry. As a member of the UC organization, you’ll support the development and management of Compute, Database, Storage, Internet of Things (IoT), Platform, and Productivity Apps services in AWS. Within AWS UC, Amazon Dedicated Cloud (ADC) roles engage with AWS customers who require specialized security solutions for their cloud services.
The AWS SDKs are the gateway to the 200 AWS services, and the Python SDK is uniquely placed as the primary AWS library for Python developers around the world. We set the pace for Python development on AWS for customers. We build out in the open, are passionate about developer experience and client side tools, and are currently looking for a seasoned engineer to help us make this experience even better.
AWS has the most services and more features within those services than any other cloud provider–from infrastructure technologies like compute, storage, and databases–to emerging technologies, such as machine learning and artificial intelligence, data lakes and analytics, and Internet of Things. AWS Platform is the glue that holds the AWS ecosystem together.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $151,300 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $261,500 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
