We are seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer to enable the scale of next generation sensor and compute products in robotics. We are a cross-disciplinary team aiming to enable broad use cases of sensing and compute technologies in Amazon fulfillment network.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software development and scaling. The candidate need to have strong technical expertise to deliver independently, as well as great stewardship skills to work on multiple projects with internal teams and external partners. Key job responsibilities
- Work backwards from optimal customer experience, partner with hardware, software and operations teams to define the software to scale the sensor and computer products in Amazon Fulfillment network.
- Design, develop and deploy software services and tools to manage and monitor a large fleet of sensing & compute hardware and software.
- Create, optimize and maintain both edge-based and cloud-based software services to assist real-time robotic systems.
- Champion automation and efficiencies for the operational excellence of the team and customers.

Basic Qualifications
- 3 years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 2 years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
- 4 years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Familiar with Typescript and/or Python.
- Familiar with AWS CDK.
- Experience with CI/CD.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork and collaboration skills with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to support domestic and international travel as required by the program
