Project Kuiper, which is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The Project Kuiper recruiting team is seeking a results driven Sourcing Recruiter with a passion for delighting clients and candidates.
Candidates must be able to successfully manage, prioritize, and fulfill job searches against a timeline and have experience setting benchmarks and metrics. They must understand how to prioritize and achieve SLAs. The best candidates will draw on robust knowledge of talent acquisition and tech roles and areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders, hiring managers, and HR business partners. They have a reputation for being exceptional at candidate generation, client/account management, strong organizational skills, possess strong verbal and written communication skills, have an ability to prioritize their time, demonstrate pushback and a sense of urgency, and understand the value of providing amazing customer service. They will thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, have fun, and get the job done.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $64,800/year in our lowest geographic market up to $138,700/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Key job responsibilities
- Partner with hiring teams to build effective sourcing and candidate assessment approaches with an ability to manage customer/partner expectations.
- Must be able to understand how to recruit passive non-technical and technical candidates
- Must be able to understand how to recruit passive clearable and cleared candidates
- Provide strategic guidance as a trusted advisor to business leaders in matters related to technical and non-technical hiring by delivering results.
- Develop sourcing models and plans to generate technical and non-technical talent pools; create and execute robust search strategies that will attract the best and brightest talent; calibrate candidates with hiring managers.
- Recommend ideas and strategies related to recruitment that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company, implementing any new processes and fine tuning standard processes for recruiting that fits within Amazon's mission to deliver the highest quality results to the customer.
- Articulate in writing a plan with deliverables, timelines, and a formal tracking process.
- Interview candidates within the framework of the position specification. Possess strong ability to screen, interview and prepare a candidate slate within an appropriate and consistent timeline.
- Participate in and/or own special projects/recruiting initiatives, including assessment of best practices in interviewing techniques, leveraging of internal sources of talent, and identification of top performers for senior-level openings.

- 3 years of recruiting mid to high-level tech talent in competitive markets experience
- Experience working with essential tools of the trade, resume databases, and internet sourcing tools
- Experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches, projects and client relationships
- Experience recruiting for mid-senior level talent
- 3 years of passive candidate generation experience
- Creating, measuring, and scaling workflow among candidates, hiring managers, and the recruiting team
- Experience leading or participating in technology hiring events, technology mixers, and regular attendance and participation at technology meetups and technology user groups
- Experience in cleared government recruiting, specifically for clearances of TS/SCI or higher.
