The Amazon Device Brand Studio (DBS) is seeking a senior 3D artist to raise the bar on CGI renders by building efficient workflows, creative standards, tools, and best practices at both an artistic and technical level within our 3D pipeline to scale the approach across content types and locales. This position is responsible for art-directing and delivering photo-realistic device renders, as well as supporting CGI systems, workflows for Al-generated imagery, and lifestyle renders that scale in volume and quality. 3D device and lifestyle renderings play a critical role in every Amazon device launch. These are typically the first device images customers see when visiting our homepage and detail pages. They inspire and empower customers to purchase devices with confidence. The senior 3D artist works closely with creative directors, program managers, and product leads across the entire devices and services organization to ensure our customers receive the best 3D product experience possible across all marketing channels.
Key job responsibilities
- Creation of high-fidelity 3D Amazon device renders and environments
- Mastery of 3D materials, lighting and rendering
- Provide inspiration and guidance to the 3D artists
- Drive groundbreaking improvements to how AI is used to bring products to life
- Impeccable sense of production scale for CGI workflows
- Have a high degree of attention to detail when managing multiple projects, variations, and feedback from project owners
- Work with producers and designers on design for concepts and execution
- Adhere to Amazon and Amazon device brand attributes and style guides

Basic Qualifications
8 years of design experience
Have an available online portfolio
Experience art directing motion designers, illustrators, writers and content creators
Experience partnering with technical partners for design implementation
Preferred Qualifications
Knowledge of marketing fundamentals and ability to implement them to create dynamic advertising solutions
Knowledge of typographic and brand design principles

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $210,300 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
