Amazon Freight is building the next-generation of shipping services on top of our core transportation network. This role is responsible for leading strategy, innovation and development that ensures high-performance and quality in all aspects of freight movements. The scope is global and includes features that coordinate and optimize driver, shipper and yard operations, on-time performance, predictive disruption management, freight tracking visibility and all AI powered support intelligence. It involves coordinating core AF tech teams, as well as working with core Middle-Mile planning and execution systems to ensure a coordinated, cohesive and optimized experience for our shipper customers.
This Senior Mgr will lead a team of product owners and program managers spanning enterprise integration, disruption-management, delivery and pickup workflow, risk prediction and real-time planning operations. It also involves working with marketing on coordinated launches, customer insights, and with sales on segment-specific pain-points, and finance on project KPIs and commitments

You will work with executive leaders, engineering, science and operations stakeholders to coordinate product launches, process improvement, generate ideas, validate entitlement and then direct a path to launch. You will work alongside the sales-team, to understand unique large-customer requirements, provide guidance on the our solution set and work creatively to design bespoke solutions as needed. You will define architecture, integration strategy, and work across products to drive execution. You’ll work in a fast-paced environment and will be required to lead not only at the strategic level, but also tactically day-to-day by diving deeply into business and technical domains. As a multi-discipline leader leading impactful large-scale projects, the buck will stop with you.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits. Basic Qualifications
- 6 years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience overseeing roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience delivering consumer software products and services in a high growth environment
