Rural and Rapid Logistics (R2L) is looking for a Sr. Manager with a delivery record and proven program management experience to ead a team of talented program managers in the Procurement Service space for our faster than Same Day fulfillment centers.
As a Manager of R2L Procurement Services Program Management Team you will lead a team of program managers to support the high growth and dynamic faster than Same Day operations network. You will be responsible for building processes, systems, and mechanisms to scope, prioritize, and monitor projects supporting both internal team improvement as well as procurement related improvements across multiple FCs and business units daily. You will drive execution and efficiency through data-driven decision-making and analytical problem-solving. You will be accountable for cost, customer experience, and fulfillment center partner experience, both in daily execution and long-term step-function improvements. Additional responsibilities include coaching and mentoring the team, nurturing positive employee relations, building leadership bench strength within the organization, consistently partnering with cross functional teams, and holding both internal and external team members accountable to deliverables and timelines.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $225,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. - Lead and supervise a team of Program Managers
- Responsible for the overall Program Management process for SSD Procurement
- Develop team members for career progression.
- Create and nurture communication programs to establish great work culture for the team through Connections and active feedback
- Responsible for planning, prioritization, and scheduling of projects.
- Engage and drive accountability with cross functional partners to identify, scope, and deliver high impact projects. operational issues in coordination with Sites, Partner teams, and Program/Procurement Managers
- Own taking proactive steps to ensure that best practices are shared across procurement operations
- Confidence operating in a highly ambiguous and complex space
- High attention to detail including proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously
- Willingness to challenge and influence VPs
- Ability to think strategically and solve important initiatives that resolve critical problems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation is desired
- Ability to clearly communicate data insights to others
- 7 years of team management experience
- Bachelor's degree
- Experience in team management
- Experience working with, presenting to and influencing senior executives up to VP level
- Experience managing teams of 6 or more
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience implementing repeatable processes and driving automation or standardization
