Are you excited about Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) and the growing Everyday Essentials (which consists of Grocery, Health & Personal Care, Beauty, Premium Beauty, Baby and Pets products) business? Do you enjoy working on new and unique challenges? The Amazon Consumables team is hiring a Senior Product Manager for Alternative Fulfillment, In this role, you will play a strategic role within Retail teams, working cross-functionally to drive results, generating savings, influence technical priorities, optimize supply chain, lead Vendor discussions, and oversee two critical supply chain programs. The Senior Product Manager will serve as the single-threaded owner for Vendor Flex and Direct Fulfillment, responsible for end-to-end ownership of overall program strategy and driving operational improvements of key metrics. This exciting role is within the US Consumables Supply Chain team, offering a unique opportunity to Drive Results, Invent and Simplify and Think Big to make a significant impact across product families.

Key job responsibilities
- Develop annual cost savings goals and consistently achieve annual targets through strategic and tactical initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with partner teams (operations, business development, finance, legal, business intelligence) to influence technical, product, and strategic priorities. This includes shaping product roadmaps, introducing new features, driving automation, and creating innovative operational models.
- Participate in strategic Vendor negotiations, Joint Business Plans, and Quarterly Business Reviews to improve supply chain efficiency.
- Establish scalable mechanisms for tracking and optimizing key metrics including Confirmation Rate, Capacity, Vendor Lead Time, Speed, and Selection.
- Develop and enhance scalable training programs tailored for Retail teams and Vendors.
- Ensure Retail and Partner teams are prepared for peak events by providing guidance updates, hosting trainings, staying updated with deals calendar and holding office hours.



A day in the life
- Contribute to strategic documents and presentations, including Joint Business Plans and Quarterly Reviews, Annual Vendor Negotiation.
- Assess monthly performance metrics, take action to bridge results and rectify operational defects through strategic initiatives.
- Engage in weekly meetings with partner teams, actively tracking results and collaborating to identify to growth areas and resolve emerging issues.
- Collaborate with partner teams to identify and introduce new features and initiating pilot programs for key Vendors.
- Identify operational issues and create mechanisms for resolving recurring challenges, leveraging automation wherever possible.
- Contribute to key Vendor meetings, including onboarding discussions, Vendor performance reviews, and annual Vendor negotiations.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5 years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience as a product manager or owner
- Experience owning technology products
- 4 years of end to end product delivery experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience in influencing senior leadership through data driven insights
- Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders
- Master's degree or equivalent

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
