As a Product Manager, Technical for Aerial, you will be responsible for driving the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our observation and data collection capabilities within the product. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to design and deliver innovative solutions that simplify and centralize standard work related to employee experience across Amazon's global operations.

Key job responsibilities

  • Own and drive the product roadmap for Aerial's Observe capabilities, aligning with the overall Aerial strategy and vision
  • Collaborate with UX research and design teams to create personalized experiences for different user personas
  • Drive the consolidation of data from disparate systems into a centralized data lake
  • Develop and implement features that enhance operational efficiency, such as compliance monitoring and advanced rating systems
  • Partner with engineering teams to leverage Generative AI for features such as automated image analysis and problem detection
  • Continuously analyze user feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement and new feature opportunities
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements
  • Collaborate with other Aerial product managers to ensure seamless integration across Observe, Detect, and Act capabilities

About The Team

The PATOE Product Development team is responsible for the identification of defects in our employee experience across all roles in the WWC & Ops organization and beyond. Finding these defects is not enough though; we are tasked with building and deploying products, tools and solutions to remove these defects. Our products and programs are always changing and we continually innovate to transform and improve the employee experience. This position supports Amazon's Worldwide Operations, Consumer and Corporate teams, and when we do our jobs well, we have a direct positive impact on the daily work of over 1.5m Amazonians.

Basic Qualifications

  • 3 years of end to end product delivery experience
  • 3 years of technical product or program management experience
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
  • Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
  • Experience with concepts such as system architecture, optimization, system dynamics, system analysis, statistical analysis, reliability analysis, and decision making

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
