DESCRIPTION

Selling Partner Services owns the end-to-end fees and incentives experience active third-party sellers, including the strategy, seller experience, accuracy and integrity, science and analytics, and providing scalable technology to monetize services for third-party sellers. To meet our sellers’ needs, our smart, diverse, customer-obsessed employees are constantly innovating on behalf of sellers, developing new fees and incentive programs to help sellers grow on Amazon. Our systems empower internal Amazon businesses to launch and change fees and incentives in a manner that builds Seller trust, ensuring every transaction is accurately calculated and transparent.

We are looking for an experienced and self-driven technical product leader who will help design, audit and develop the next generation of incentive systems and tools. This individual is responsible for building technology solutions to help us safely scale our system, and improving the costs and incentive infrastructure for Amazon and our sellers. The candidate will own the global technical roadmap for an incentive program with the objective of onboarding new selection to Amazon as well as a centralized destination for incentives on Seller Central.

Key job responsibilities
The ideal candidate enjoys solving hard problems, and is comfortable balancing business needs against technical constraints. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

• Work closely with key stakeholders across the organization to define technical design for new programs, features, and tools or expansion of existing programs, features, and tools
• Solicit feedback from customers to define business problems and requirements, and work with technical teams to scope and deliver technical software products
• Build and maintain a high-quality product roadmap, and make it constantly visible to management and key stakeholders, and drive projects through to completion
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs for speed to market, performance, and quality

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
- 5 years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Master's degree in a quantitative/technical field such as computer science, engineering, statistics
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
- Experience bridging technical and business teams to collect and refine requirements, prioritize incoming work requests, and ensure all committed work is delivered on time
- Experience in technical product management, program management or engineering
- Experience with end to end product delivery

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
