Amazon Air Cargo is looking for an experienced, self-starter Tech Business Development Manager (BDM) to drive adoption of Amazon Airs B2B Air Cargo offering. This is an exciting opportunity to drive exponential growth by building and scaling global partnerships. The role will be responsible for identifying, vetting, launching and managing mutually beneficial partnerships, and developing effective strategies to meet organizational goals.
The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record leading new market segment development efforts working across stakeholder teams to develop strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will also possess a business background and subject matter expertise that enables them to drive specific engagement and interaction, as well as a technical understanding that enables them to easily interact with product developers for integration opportunities (specifically Application Programming Interface (API) integration and end-to-end (E2E) solution). The candidate should also have a demonstrated ability to think strategically and analytically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, and work cross-organizationally to build consensus. A track record of helping establish new business via focused incubation mechanisms and then broad partnerships will be important for this role. The ideal candidate will have a keen sense of ownership, drive, and scrappiness and consistently exceed key performance metrics. They will be part builder, part operator, and part general manager who can prioritize well, communicate clearly, and understand how to drive a high level of focus.
As a key team member in this fast growing, exciting space you will have the opportunity to help lead the early market segment development efforts for new services, establish wins with strategic partners, create new partnerships, and then as the business starts to formulate, help drive growth and shape the future of a service category that will have a significant impact on our customers business.
Your responsibilities will include creating a comprehensive go-to-market strategy to help develop the partner strategy for Amazon Airs Air Cargo service. Your role will include onboarding new partners, setting up clear communication channels, and providing partners with everything they need to be successful in working with Amazon Air.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,200 / year in our lowest geographic market up to $220,200 / year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits.
